Chapter 1
In Learn or Die, the author, Edward Hess argues that organizations and individuals must keep learning and adapting to stay relevant. Modern business models rely on keeping a competitive edge and advances in technology and globalization adds pressure to grow and change at a rapid pace in order to keep up.
Hess explains his formula for building a high performing learning organization (HPLO) as the right people + the right environment + the right processes. At this point in my reading, this all feels very intuitive. However, I am eager to learn more about the processes and methods Hess employs in order to achieve high performance learning.
